It was my first English language role. I played a guy, who is in massive debt towards the head of a mafia organization. We had a very thorough character brief and rehearsals beforehand. Therefore, there was less room to improvise on the day. Instead, we had a clear directorial vision, which we had to follow in the portrayal of these characters.
